Anti-Infiltration Webinar Class Dates

NOTE: In case you didn’t see it over at American Partisan…I’m teaching an anti-infiltration webinar series. Session 1 is October 1 (or, if you prefer East Coast timing, you can log into the October 2 session).

There are only 3 seats left in the 1 October session.

There’s a misconception about group infiltration. It’s simple, and it goes like this: “Infiltration is something that happens to other groups, because they are stupid. It won’t happen to us, because we are smart.” A variation on this involves those who say, “I know all of my guys and they’re solid.”

The cold, hard truth is that infiltration CAN happen to your group — not because you’re stupid, but because you may not recognize the signs. Infiltration isn’t always a huge neon sign, where some stranger comes up to you and offers to help you do something illegal. It’s much more long-term, more insidious, and often harder to detect. Sometimes it comes through the people you’ve known a long time — or even your own spouse, in some cases. In fact, infiltration doesn’t even have to mean that one of your people isn’t “solid.” Sometimes they’re put in a horrible position — and see no other way out besides turning informant.

Regardless of your personal feelings about it — or your belief about whether it can happen in your own group — it’s important to understand how it happens, why it happens, and how to prevent anyone in your group from finding themselves in that position.

It’s critical that you act in a smart, savvy way when it comes to topics like vetting and group dynamics, or trying to keep your people protected from approach. I’ll be hosting a series of webinars on how to make your group more hardened against infiltration, to include informants, agents, and con men. This means you can get that training while sitting on your couch. No travel necessary.

The first webinar session will be 2 hours long, and will cover the following:

  • How is infiltration done? – We’ll talk about some successful examples of infiltration, and look at the damage it can cause.
  • Who is doing it?  – There are more than just federal agents infiltrating groups and movements. Shysters, frauds, thieves, and con men are doing it too.
  • How can they get in? – What are the attack vectors they’re using?
  • Are you safe? – How solid is your group really?

For this first session, we’ll be talking a lot about core motivators, and what they offer an infiltrator in terms of access and leverage points. In short, you’ll learn the basics you need to identify the holes and vulnerabilities in your group — and in yourself. There will also be plenty of time for questions.

Future sessions will cover things including but not limited to:

  • The different types of infiltration and their resulting damages
  •  The basics of profiling an infiltrator
  • Proper recruiting procedures
  • Expected vs. unexpected behaviors
  • Cues that let you know you have a problem
  • Damage mitigation
  • How to flip the script

There are two Part 1 webinars currently scheduled; both of them are exactly the same. I’m simply offering two so those on the East Coast can get in on it too at a different time. Pertinent information is as follows:

  1. I want to attend the Western Class. I do not know if my home will be full thus I cannot make it to class. So, I have to wait last minute. If I wait last minute and I do happen to get to attend and there is still a spot open, are you allowing last minute pay and attendance?

    1. If there is a spot still open in that class yes. Right now, however, there are only two spots open. The one the next night has more spots; maybe that offers a better time schedule?
